Cannes, city of light, always encounters photo passionate, that know the town better than any other : revealing a detail, precising a color ... Cannes, city of stars, wishes this year to pay a tribute to photo professionals and amateurs, honoring them and recognizing them. After the Palme d'Or, supreme distinction of the cinema world, the NRJ Music Awards, the Advertising Lions or the MAPIC Awards, the tourism department of the town launches, in partnership with Sony, the first edition of the Sony World Photography Awards.
 
Animations, exhibitions, workshops and photo rallies will be declined all along the year around this main happening, always in line with the festivals, culture and sport events taking place in Cannes.
